K&A Appliance has a great reputation in the community for service, products, customer experience & work environment. Having been experiencing rapid growth K&A Appliance has openings for full-time warehouse associates at their Greenfield & other facilities in Lancaster County.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, unloading and loading trailers, loading appliances into various vehicles for retail customers, cleaning appliances, handling freight properly to avoid damage, operating 2-wheel hand dolly and pallet jack, help maintain a clean warehouse. Successful candidates must be able to perform heavy lifting, have an excellent attendance record and a high degree of accuracy. Prior appliance handling experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack appliances for up to 10 hours at a time.
- Stand for long periods of time and walk continuously.
- Associates may be required to lift up to 50 lbs on their own, lift more weight with assistance, and safely maneuver heavy appliances (including large refrigerators & ranges) on their own, using only a 2 wheel dolly.
Arrangements:
- Closed Sundays & major holidays
- Working 40 to 50 hours per week, as needed
- Starting pay rate $16.00 to $17.00 per hour ($640 to $935 per week)
- Weekly payroll, direct deposited
- After 3 months, qualify for paid time off & holiday pay
- After 3 months, qualify to participate in company 401k plan, with a company match up to 5%

Must be available to work up to 50 hours a week, 7am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday, & occasional Saturdays
Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
