K&A Appliance has an opening for a full-time Appliance Service Technician to work out of their Greenfield facility.

Job Summary:

· Diagnose and repair major household appliances in customers’ homes
· Assist with service repairs in warehouse when needed
· Prepare invoices and collect payments on completed service calls and any parts or additional labor costs from customers
· Maintain the Service Van and keep it stocked with parts used on a regular basis
· Communicate effectively with Service Coordinator regarding service calls and any issues that arise
· Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7am to 5:30pm
· 40-50 Hours weekly depending on volume of Service Calls

Job Requirements:

· 
> MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE SERVICING/REPAIRING MAJOR HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES AS A FULL-TIME EMPLOYED TECHNICIAN <
· Must have a clean and valid driver's license
· To lift up to 50 lbs on their own, lift more weight with assistance or leverage device
· Proficient in connecting water and gas lines and checking for leaks
· Provide excellent service and customer care during the service of appliances in customers' home
· Must have mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things
· Protect the customer's home while working & cleaning work area of all debris
· Maintain professional appearance (Uniforms provided)
· Legibly complete all necessary paperwork
· Ability to work well under pressure & respond in a professional & courteous manner in all situations
· Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
